Mobvoi releases new update bringing improvements to various smartwatches

Firstly, Mobvoi has returned a feature allowing you to customize the function key, which was removed during an older update. Now, you can choose what happens when you press the button at the bottom right of the smartwatch. The company says it has freed up memory to make the watch faster by removing older watch faces and unpopular apps like the Calculator and TicBreathe. Plus, an issue with echoing during a Bluetooth call has been resolved. Also included are the latest security patch and fixes for several bugs; further details as to which problems have been addressed are not provided in the change log.

The updates for the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS, TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS, and TicWatch E3 are being rolled out in phases, with the schedule provided in the image below. You can download the update via Settings > System > About > System Updates. Some users have reported the need to press the button multiple times to trigger the installation process.
