Maono claims to have gotten a lot of positive attention for its new PD300X at CES 2025, possibly because of its dual-port system that might allow it to connect to a laptop and something like a TASCAM FR-AV2 at the same time (or "zero-delay" monitoring via 3.5mm headphones, apparently).
One is a USB-C port (that can use the cable with a type-A adapter that comes in the box), while the other is XLR. Maono purports to augment the PD300X' professional credentials with an up-to-192kHz/24-bit sampling rate and "broadcast-grade" pick-up.
The PD300X can use an EQ panel via its MaonoLink software, and also comes with 4 pre-sets that are touted to be ideal for podcasting, gaming, streaming and recording.
The PD300X also comes with a dedicated Mute Button that can also be programmed to do things like switch its "5-level" noise reduction on with a long press. It is found under a 3-in-1 Smart Knob that be pressed to switch monitors as well as tune mic or headphone gain.
Accordingly, Maono indicates that the PD300X is a new alternative to the Shure MV7i, and at a fraction of the price, too.
Shure's USB/XLR dynamic mic currently starts at $349 on Amazon, whereas the PD300X is $99.99 right now with a boom, or $110.46 as its PD300XT stand-equipped variant, at the time of writing.

Maono Press Release
The PD300X took centre stage at CES 2025, drawing widespread acclaim for its breakthrough audio performance and professional design. Visitors praised its versatility, with the microphone seamlessly transitioning between USB and XLR connections, making it an ideal choice for both podcast recording equipment and home studio setups. Attendees were impressed by its intuitive plug-and-play functionality and robust build quality, which underscores Maono’s commitment to innovation and user-friendly design.
192kHz Sampling Rate For Better Audio Quality
The PD300X delivers crystal-clear sound quality with a significant leap in audio performance. Compared to the typical 48kHz sampling rate found in most microphones, the 192kHz sampling rate of the PD300X microphone captures much higher-frequency sound details, ensuring that every nuance of your voice or instrument is reproduced precisely. Additionally, the 192kHz sampling rate boasts an enhanced frequency response, delivering a broader range of sounds with greater accuracy, while reducing distortion and preserving the integrity of the original recording. These upgrades make the PD300X the perfect tool for streamers, podcasters, and professional audio creators seeking superior sound fidelity and precision.
Enhanced Control with Upgraded MaonoLink Software
The PD300X integrates seamlessly with Maono’s updated MaonoLink software, offering an intuitive and customizable audio experience. MaonoLink with a robust suite of tools, including limiters, compressors, and high-pass filters, streamlines the workflow for efficient and professional audio processing. The upgraded visual graphic EQ panel makes it intuitive to shape and fine-tune your audio profile. Parameter customization empowers users to explore their unique sound and achieve a personalized tone. These enhancements provide creators with greater flexibility and control, making professional-quality audio production more accessible than ever.
