Anbernic leads the way in the retro gaming handheld space for the frequency with which it releases new devices. For context, the company has started selling the RG34XX SP, RG35XX Pro, RG477M, RG557 and RG Slide in the last few months. However, it seems that MagicX hopes to offer a few more alternatives before the year is out too.
So far, MagicX has launched the Mini Zero 28 and Zero 40 (curr. $94.99 on Amazon), each sporting Allwinner's A133P chipset. Shortly after the latter's release, the company teased the Retro 45, which it claimed would be aimed at fans of Dreamcast, Genesis, Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn emulation. Now, MagicX has indicated that the Retro 45 and the long-rumoured Touch One 35 will be available within the next few months as well.
Apparently, the Touch One 35 is up first with a September launch earmarked. While MagicX has not provided specifics yet, it has now clarified that the Touch One 35 features the Helio G85, not the older Helio P65. Incidentally, the company has already showcased the device's design through an early hands-on video.
Then in December, MagicX hopes to release the Retro 45. Unfortunately, the company has yet to reveal a full Retro 45 render. Instead, it has confirmed that the device will utilise the Allwinner A133P just like the Mini Zero 28 and Zero 40 before it. Presumably, MagicX will reveal more details about the Retro 45 after it starts selling the Touch One 35.
