OneXPlayer has recently announced a new gaming handheld, the Super X, which appears to stand as a slightly upgraded competitor to the Asus ROG Flow Z13. There's still no official release date yet, but the company has now fully detailed the convertible tablet.
Among the newly shared details is the port configuration, and it seems that the OneXPlayer Super X will come with a rich selection of ports despite being a relatively compact gaming device. To be specific, the convertible tablet is confirmed to feature the following ports:
- 2x full-featured USB4
- 1x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x 3.5 mm audio jack
Unlike the OneXPlayer X1 Pro (available on Amazon), there's no OCuLink port, and this isn't a big deal as the Super X comes with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, which has the Radeon 8060S iGPU. According to our analysis, this integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics is on par with the RTX 4070 Laptop, and the company claims that the device can run the APU at 120 W TDP.
The company has also shared some performance demos of the OneXPlayer Super X. On the demos, the Strix Halo gaming handheld is shown to run Cyberpunk 2077 and Stellar Blade at around 80 FPS and 100 FPS, respectively. Expedition 33 and Forza Horizon 3 have also been tested on the device, and the device is shown to hold above 100 FPS in both.
As for the launch, the company has announced that the Kickstarter program for the Super X is scheduled to launch at the end of September 2025. You can learn more about this new AMD Strix Halo gaming tablet from our previous coverage and the videos attached below.
