MagicX has released short teasers of another upcoming retro gaming handheld, shortly after showcasing the Retro 45 with Dreamcast, Genesis, Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn emulation in mind. This time, it has pivoted to the Touch One 35, which it last previewed at the end of June.
For context, the Touch One 35 appears to utilise the MediaTek Helio P65 rather than the Allwinner A133P used in the Zero 40 and Mini Zero 28 (curr. $69.99 on Amazon). Additionally, the forthcoming device integrates a 3:2 display that outputs at 960 x 640 pixels. As Retro Handhelds notes, the inclusion of two d-pads implies that MagicX has designed the Touch One 35 for Tate Mode emulation too.
Nonetheless, MagicX has focused on the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) emulation for the time being. Based on the videos below, the Touch One 35 can emulate PS Vita games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories at full speed, although this is not particularly difficult to emulate at 640p. Unfortunately, it is unclear at this stage when the Touch One 35 will be available to purchase.
