MSI details new compact desktop PC with 128 GB RAM and Nvidia RTX Spark
A few months have passed since MSI presented the EdgeMesa N AI+. Unveiled during Computex 2026, the mini-PC is one of several that leverage Nvidia's new RTX Spark platform. As we discussed at the time, the EdgeMesa N AI+ also boasted 10 GbE connectivity and multi-display support.
Since then, Acer has launched the SFF RTX Spark with the same chipset, as has Honor with the Tiangong AXB35. Meanwhile, Asus has shared more details about the ProArt GR1X, another RTX Spark-powered mini-PC first shown at Computex 2026.
Now, MSI has followed suit by listing the EdgeMesa N AI+ on its global website. In the process, the company has revealed more hardware specifications. Moreover, it now mentions the EdgeMesa N AI+ X too, which appears to be a high-end version of the EdgeMesa N AI+. Unfortunately, more details about this variant remain unknown for now.
By contrast, MSI confirms that the EdgeMesa N AI+ will be available with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5x-9600 RAM to rival AMD Strix Halo-powered mini-PCs and the latest Mac Studio (curr. $2,449 on Amazon). On top of that, MSI's new mini-PC will be available with up to 4 TB of storage on a single M.2 drive.
MSI clarifies that the EdgeMesa N AI+ combines air cooling and a vapour chamber with a 240 W power adapter to keep its 20-core RTX Spark chipset in check. Furthermore, the mini-PC features four USB Type-C (20 Gbps) ports, of which three support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode. Only single HDMI 2.1b and RJ45 (10 GbE) ports are present, though. Pricing and availability have not been announced yet, though.
