This custom PC has a cherry blossom tree inside that blooms with heat

PC modding has come a long way, and enthusiasts have built some incredible custom gaming PCs over the years. This one, however, comes from a system integrator and features something very unique — reactive titanium-alloy cherry blossoms. Yes, you heard that right, and it has the performance to back that wild design.
From the outside, if you were to ignore the internals, the Cherry Bloom custom PC from Australian PC maker Aftershock is housed in a standard mid-tower PC case with glass on three sides. On the inside, however, is a tree that takes up most of the empty space. This cherry blossom tree has pink and white petals that are made from a heat-reactive titanium alloy.
Inside the system, 70 handcrafted cherry blossoms made from a special heat-reactive titanium alloy open as the PC comes alive, turning power, temperature, lighting, and performance into a living showcase.
The cherry blossoms react to the internal temperature so they curl up when the PC is off and cool. However, it is unclear what amount of heat makes them open up. An interesting concept nonetheless. The tree hides the water-cooling rigid tubing and is seemingly acting as GPU support as well. It is sitting on top of the bottom-mounted fans, so there must be channels or a hollow core to allow air to pass through.
In terms of specifications, the Cherry Bloom custom PC features a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, the Zotac RTX 5080 Solid OC GPU, 64GB of Kingston Fury Beast RGB 6000MHz RAM, 2TB Gen4 Lexar M.2 NVMe, a Gigabyte X870E Aorus PRO X3D motherboard, a 1300W Inwin 80+ Platinum PSU, a custom open-loop, and eight RGB fans. All this is packed inside the APNX V2 white case.
For this amount of custom work, Aftershock is asking $19,995 AUD, which converts to just over $14,000 US. It doesn’t seem to be a one-off build, but it is an Aftershock exclusive. Unfortunately, it’s local shipping only, so if you’re in Australia and have $20,000 to spend on a gaming PC, check out the Cherry Bloom.
