MSI has introduced the EdgeMesa N AI+ mini PC, its direct rival to the new HP OmniDesk Mini PC and Asus ProArt Mini PC. Featuring the new NVIDIA RTX Spark architecture, this compact desktop is optimized for local generative AI, LLM development, and high-performance inferencing, offering 10GbE connectivity and multi-display support.

MSI has officially taken the wraps off the EdgeMesa N AI+ Mini PC. This new compact desktop is aimed at AI developers, data scientists, and power users.

The EdgeMesa N AI+ joins the newly-announced HP OmniDesk Mini PC and Asus ProArt Mini PC to become one of the first RTX Spark Mini PCs announced at Computex 2026. And even if the name MSI has gone with doesn’t quite roll off the tongue, the hardware is worth talking about.

Unsurprisingly, the MSI EdgeMesa N AI+ is engineered to move AI workloads from the cloud to the local desktop. With local AI processing, the system addresses key pain points for professional users like reduced latency, heightened data privacy, and a significant reduction in reliance on external cloud infrastructure. MSI claims the system is optimized to handle resource-heavy tasks, including Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and real-time inferencing with ease.

MSI's tiny new EdgeMesa N AI+ Mini PC takes on HP and Asus' new compact PCs; can run up to four displays

  • Performance: Powered by the new Nvidia RTX Spark platform.
  • Connectivity: Features a 10GbE LAN port for ultra-fast, low-latency networking.
  • Display Support: Drives up to four displays via 1x HDMI and 3x USB 20Gbps Type-C ports.
  • Cooling: Compact chassis design with advanced cooling for quiet, stable operation under sustained heavy loads.

Beyond its raw computational prowess, MSI has packed the EdgeMesa N AI+ with high-speed connectivity options that make it adaptable to specialized industries. From robotics and smart city infrastructure to healthcare and financial analytics, the machine is designed to act as a robust local node for AI deployment, says MSI.

The company is currently showcasing the EdgeMesa N AI+ at Computex 2026 if you are lucky enough to be there. The price and launch date will be announced at a later date. However, like with all other RTX Spark laptops and PCs, you might have to wait until at least August or September to get your hands on this tiny powerhouse.
