HP has introduced the new HP OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC, a compact AI-powered mini-workstation featuring Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and Thunderbolt Share. Designed for creators and AI developers, this ultra-small form factor PC launches in August 2026, offering advanced local AI processing and quad 4K display support to streamline hybrid workflows.

HP has unveiled a significant expansion of its AI-focused PC portfolio, headlined by the new HP OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC. Positioned as the world’s first "Mini AI PC" to feature Thunderbolt Share, the device is designed to replace traditional bulky towers with a compact, high-performance footprint.

HP OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC key specs and features:

  • Performance & AI: Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the OmniDesk Mini integrates a dedicated NPU to accelerate AI workflows, creative tasks, and local agentic applications.
  • Productivity: A standout feature is the inclusion of Thunderbolt Share, enabling seamless multi-PC control, allowing users to manage two computers with a single mouse and keyboard and execute high-speed file transfers.
  • Expandability: Despite its small form factor, the system supports up to four 4K displays and includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, catering to creators and power users who require significant screen real estate and fast connectivity.

The launch is part of a broader HP strategy to integrate the new Nvidia RTX Spark platform across its lineup, including upcoming notebooks and more desktop options.

The HP OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC is expected to hit the market in August 2026. Official pricing details will be announced closer to the retail launch date. What's interesting is that HP hasn't shared any images of the OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC yet.
