MSI MAG 275CQRF-QD: New 1000R curved gaming monitor previewed with 1440p and 170 Hz visuals
MSI has announced the MAG 275CQRF-QD, a new curved gaming monitor built around a 27-inch Rapid VA panel. As some MSI's product images show, the MAG 275CQRF-QD has a 1000R curvature, a 1440p native resolution (WQHD), a 16:9 aspect ratio and delivers 300 nits peak brightness. Additionally, the gaming monitor is said to provide a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, an advantage of VA panels.
Similarly, the MAG 275CQRF-QD offers 1 ms GtG response times and is FreeSync Premium compatible to mitigate image tearing when playing at high frame rates. According to MSI, the gaming monitor is good for up to 170 Hz with a factory overclock from 144 Hz. Moreover, it has equipped the MAG 275CQRF-QD with the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 2x HDMI 2.0b (1440p/144 Hz gameplay)
- 1x DisplayPort 1.2a (1440p/170 Hz gameplay)
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-B
- 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode/USB PD 15 W charging)
Also, MSI has included a KVM switch, simplifying the connection process with peripherals when moving between devices. Unfortunately, MSI has not shared pricing or availability yet. All other details about the MAG 275CQRF-QD can be found on MSI's website, though.
