Acer Nitro XV272URV: New Nitro VX2 series gaming monitor lands in Europe
Acer has introduced the Nitro XV272URV, another member in its Nitro XV2 series. As its name suggests, the Nitro XV272URV has a 27-inch panel, which Acer states it has based on IPS technology. According to the manufacturer, the monitor operates natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD) in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 109 PPI pixel density and 8-bit colour depth.
Additionally, the panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space, peaks at 400 nits and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. Acer states that the Nitro XV272URV also outputs at 144 Hz by default but supports overclocking to 170 Hz, mirroring the MSI MAG 275CQRF-QD. Accordingly, the monitor is AMD FreeSync Premium compatible and has 1 ms response times (GtG) to minimise latency when gaming at high refresh rates. The gaming monitor contains stereo speakers too, although there is a 3.5 mm jack for connecting external audio equipment.
Furthermore, the Nitro XV272URV has DisplayPort and HDMI ports, along with a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount for using a third-party stand or wall mount. Currently, Acer sells the Nitro XV272URV in Europe for €399. While the company has also listed the monitor on its UK website, it has not disclosed any pricing or availability yet.
