Available since early June 2022, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 curved gaming monitor (model number LS32BG852NNXGO) has a list price of US$1,499.99. According to the popular Amazon price tracker Camelcamelcamel, it never went above this value, and the lowest price tag was up on November 26 2022, showing US$979.99. Today's discount of 20% doesn't bring it that low, but those interested can get the Odyssey Neo G8 from Amazon for US$1,196.93, which is still a decent price when compared to the average of US$1,314.74.
This monitor's list of highlights includes a 32-inch QLED panel with 4K UHD resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and a 1000R curve. The list of supported technologies/standards includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Quantum HDR2000, 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, automatic source switching, CoreSync lighting, and much more. The monitor's stand features all the needed adjustments (heigh, tilt, swivel, pivot), but 100 X 100 mm VESA mounting is also supported. The connectivity options supported include USB Type-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
Amazon customers who want a higher screen size for nearly half the price of the Neo G8 and are also willing to drop the curved display alongside the 240 Hz refresh rate can currently buy the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 (you might want to check our hands-on review first) for US$676.90, thanks to a generous 32% discount. For the time being, Samsung US is also offering the Odyssey Neo G8 for a similar price (US$1,199.99, down from US$1,499.99, the link to the product page is the one in the first paragraph).
