MSI G322C: 32-inch curved gaming monitor introduced with 1000R curvature and 170 Hz refresh rate
MSI has introduced the G322C, a curved gaming monitor with a 32-inch VA panel. Built with a 1000R curvature, the MSI G322C combines a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel native resolution with a 170 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response times (MPRT). Additionally, the VA panel peaks at just 250 nits, although it delivers a 3,000:1 contrast ratio.
According to MSI, the monitor should cover 89%, 92.3% and 116.4% of the AdobeRGB, DCI-P3 and sRGB colour spaces, respectively. Also, the MSI G322C supports AMD FreeSync Premium and operates between 48-170 Hz on its DisplayPort 1.2a port and 48-165 Hz on its HDMI 2.0b ports. For reference, MSI includes one of the former and two of the latter, plus a 3.5 mm audio out. Unfortunately, the MSI G322C lacks a USB hub of any form.
Moreover, MSI has included its CEC profile system, allowing you to create profiles for multiple sets of devices that the monitor can detect automatically. Incidentally, the company boasts that the G322C has a frameless design, that is if you ignore the noticeable chin. Separately, MSI has fitted a 100 x 100 mm VESA interface and a removable stand that supports tilt and height adjustment. For some reason, MSI has not provided any pricing details yet. For context, the MSI Optix G24C costs US$179.99, a price that we suspect the MSI G322C will exceed.
