Lenovo recently introduced a new swathe of laptops as part of its CES showcase. Of those presented in Las Vegas, many fell under its Legion gaming series, like the Legion Pro Rollable concept. However, it seems that a new batch of Legion gaming laptops is on the horizon, too.
A few days ago, Huang514613 discovered Lenovo referencing several unreleased laptops on a support website. From their model numbers alone, it seemed that many leverage Nvidia's unreleased N1V and N1X chipsets. At the same time, it looks like an AMD Strix Halo alternative is in the works too to rival the TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA and the ROG Flow Z13 before it (curr. $2,169 on Amazon).
Specifically, Lenovo now mentions the Legion 7 15 ASH11 on a Legion Space support page, with ASH in the highlighted portion above referring to the AMD Strix Halo (ASH) platform. However, it remains to be seen what APUs will be available at this stage. The Ryzen AI Max+ 392 and Ryzen AI Max+ 395 are likely candidates, although GPU performance would be identical thanks to their usage of identical Radeon 8060S iGPUs.
A Gen 11 variant too, the Legion 7 15 ASH11 will also feature a 15-inch display rather than the 16-inch versions showcased during CES 2026. For reference, the Legion 7a Gen 11 combines the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. Theoretically, a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 would give the Legion 7 15 ASH11 a significant CPU advantage over the Legion 7a Gen 11 while matching GPU performance and consuming significantly less power in the process. Unfortunately, Lenovo has not indicated when it will officially launch its Legion 7 alternative.
