Lenovo's latest premier Ultrabook is now on sale for $855 USD down from its original launch price of $900 when applying the code 'EXTRAFIVE' at checkout. This deal is notable because the laptop ships with the latest Zen 2 Ryzen 7 4700U processor from AMD that handily outclasses any Intel 10th gen Core U-series option in both raw CPU horsepower and GPU performance at the moment.
Some drawbacks to keep in mind are the soldered 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and lack of Thunderbolt 3 support. If you think you'll need more than 8 GB of memory for your daily needs, then it would be best to wait for a better deal. It's unfortunate that Lenovo is not offering any 16 GB upgrade options for this which would have made the deal easier to swallow.
Look pass the disadvantages and you'll find a strong chassis design reminiscent of the IdeaPad S940, roomy 512 GB PCIe SSD, and a glossy IPS display with surprisingly fast processor performance considering the 14-inch form factor.
