Leak: Google Pixel Tag to launch with Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5

There are many modern Bluetooth trackers available, some from manufacturers like Apple or Samsung, others from third-party manufacturers. Until now, Google didn't offer a corresponding device for the Pixel ecosystem, but that will apparently change in a few days, as 9to5Google discovered. As records in databases show, Google's smart tracker will apparently be called “Pixel Tag”, the corresponding model number is GA12506.

The Google tracker will be available in a “Fog Light” color and, unlike most other trackers, have a pill-shaped design, as shown in the image below. The familiar Google logo is prominently displayed in the center, with an LED integrated below it. A speaker is on board as well. Similar to the Apple AirTag, the Pixel Tracker will apparently be sold without any mount mechanism, so there will likely be external cases available for the new Google accessory. The Pixel Tag integrates accessories such as keys into the “Find My Device” network in Android, as revealed by the marketing description that was also leaked:

Technical specifications are not yet known; in particular, it is unclear whether UWB (Ultra-Wideband) is supported. According to @evleaks, the new Google accessory will launch alongside the Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5 generations on August 12 and will cost between $29 and $39.
