The Dell XPS 13 9350 laptop with a 13-inch FHD+ display, an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V Lunar Lake APU, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage is now on sale at up to a 35% discount over the list price. The laptop is not only portable, but also carries a capable iGPU and superb battery life.

Ever since Dell introduced the XPS 13 Plus 9320 back in 2022, the company has found it hard to balance the arguably beautiful exterior and usability. On one hand, the XPS 13 Plus and subsequent XPS 13 laptops feel great to hold and look modern. On the other hand, the design has forced Dell to make some tough compromises like a very limited port selection.

While the latest XPS 13 9350 doesn’t solve the design issues, the Lunar Lake Core Ultra 7 256V gives the laptop some noticeable buffs. For instance, where the XPS 13 9340 had a good Wi-Fi websurfing runtime of 12 hours and 49 minutes, the Lunar Lake XPS 13 9350 boasts a whopping 20.5 hours of endurance in the same test.

Making the Dell XPS 13 9350 an even better option, you can now get the machine for only $999.99 from Dell (linked at the bottom). This is a discount of $400 on the $1,399.99 MSRP. You can increase the savings by another $100 by applying a 10% coupon code for new Dell email sign-ups.

Dell XPS 13 9350 is beautiful, portable, and performs well

Aside from the obvious flaws, the Dell XPS 13 9350 has a lot going for it, both inside and outside the hood.

For starters, the 120 Hz 13-inch FHD+ display on the XPS 13 9350 boasts better contrast than its predecessor, features 435 nits of average brightness, and covers 100% of the sRGB gamut. The panel also doesn't need user-calibration.

Secondly, the Core Ultra 7 256V, although not a big performer, is fast enough for general productivity use, quite economical, and bundles a capable Arc 140v iGPU. Our testing shows that the Arc 140v is a huge improvement over Intel’s previous iGPU efforts and makes the XPS 13 9350 a pretty decent casual gamer.

The Dell XPS 13 9350 also does a decent job with the fan noise and thermals.

All in all, if you are fine with only two Thunderbolt 4 ports (a problem easily fixed with a cheap USB-C dongle from Amazon) and inputs that take some getting used to, the Dell XPS 13 9350 on sale should make for a good buy.
