Ikea's Skyrim collaboration teaser shows a rune-adorned Allen wrench and a Kallax shelf

A week ago, Ikea and Xbox announced a collection of home furniture and decorative pieces, some of which take inspiration from the Xbox controller. Now, Ikea has teased another collaboration, this time with the popular video game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

According to Instagram posts by Ikea's UK and Ireland accounts, it has an announcement scheduled for September 9, 2026. The post includes a video that shows an Allen wrench adorned with runes amongst a pile of frozen helmets, weapons, shields, pots, and books, and at the top of the pile is an Ikea Kallax shelf in white.

The video has a caption that shows the launch date and the phrase “Coming to the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” while the post itself is captioned “A creation coming to the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”. Regardless, it is not clear what Ikea is teasing here, but if we were to take a guess, we'd say Ikea might be teasing a special version of the Kallax shelf which will include the rune-adorned Allen key that appeared in the teaser.

We can also deduce that since the teaser was shared by Ikea's Ireland and UK accounts, the product(s) will be available in these region.
