Honor Magic V3: Leaker reveals Honor's global plans for new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 rival

The Magic V3 is a few days old now, having been unveiled on July 12 alongside various other Honor devices like the Magic V Flip and the MagicPad 2. To recap, the Magic V3 builds upon the Magic V2 in a few areas to challenge the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,899.99 on Amazon). For instance, Honor has managed to make this year's Magic V a tad thinner and lighter at 9.2 mm and 226 g in its sveltest guise.

Unfortunately, Honor only confirmed pricing and availability in China, where the Magic V3 starts at CNY 8,999 (~$1,240). However, it has now shared a press invite with relevant parties that points to an international launch for a new foldable. Reproduced by the likes of Roland Quandt, the invite simply invites people to 'See the Magic Unfold...Berlin 2024'.

On the face of it, this invite does not reveal much. With that being said, Quandt has clarified that the invite relates to IFA 2024, which runs between September 6 and September 10 this year. Incidentally, Honor will host its keynote before the start of IFA on September 5; other details in this regard remain unknown for now, though.

Also, it is worth keeping in mind that there is no guarantee that early September is when Honor will release the Magic V3 globally, let alone its other new foldables. In fact, if the Magic V2 is anything to go by, then Honor may use IFA 2024 to showcase the Magic V3 again before releasing it globally in early 2025.
