Huawei launched the Honor 20 phones two weeks ago in China and has announced that it has already shipped one million units since then. Honor, Huawei's high-value, youth-focused sub-brand generally releases two premium series each year, and the Honor 20 phones were the second for the year, following the Honor View 20's launch months ago.
The launch of the Honor 20 phones was marred by Huawei getting slammed with a trade ban by the US government, and most may have assumed that the devices would end up never making their way to store shelves. The ban doesn't affect business in China, though, so it's no surprise that Huawei has since put the device on sale in its home market. The keyword here is "device", as only the regular Honor 20 has been on sale, making the million-mark milestone even more impressive.
The Honor 20 Pro will go on sale in China today, while the regular Honor 20 is expected to get to stores in the UK by June 21.
