Honor released its current flagship, the 20 Pro, in a May 2019 event. However, it has not been available to buy outside of China since. This will change soon, as the company has announced that it will release this phone to other markets, starting with Russia.

The 20 Pro is Honor's early-2019 flagship, and was released alongside its non-Pro sibling at an event in London in May. However, the Huawei sub-brand did not release this phone for sale at its launch. Now, however, this phone will start selling in international markets.

Honor has announced that the Russian market will be the first to get this premium, camera-focused device on its shelves. Here, it will cost 34990 rubles (about US$553) at its first sale. This commercial launch will shortly be followed by others in countries such as some European Union states, the United Kingdom, Egypt and Malaysia.

To recap, the Honor 20 Pro rocks the flagship-grade Kirin 980 SoC. It has 8GB of RAM, 256GB in fixed storage and a quad rear camera (when the time-of-flight sensor is counted) which helped it compete effectively in DxOMark scores. It may now hope to rival the base Honor 20 in terms of sales: this phone has been available to consumers, and passed 2 million units shipped at the last count.
