HP has expanded its travel-ready accessory lineup at CES 2026 with two new compact peripherals aimed at hybrid workers and frequent travelers: the HP 65W GaN Wall Charger and the HP Portable USB-C 4K HDMI Hub. Both accessories emphasize portability and multi-device compatibility.
The HP 65W GaN Wall Charger is designed to deliver full USB-C power in a smaller and lighter form factor. According to HP, the charger is around 35% smaller and 15% lighter than its previous-generation equivalent, making it easier to carry in a travel bag.
It uses gallium nitride (GaN) technology for improved charging efficiency and supports adaptive power delivery to safely charge laptops, tablets, and other USB-C devices. HP also includes a 2-meter USB-C cable in the box, offering more flexibility when working away from wall sockets. From a sustainability standpoint, the charger is made with at least 90% post-consumer recycled plastic and ships in FSC-certified packaging.
Alongside the charger, HP introduced the HP Portable USB-C 4K HDMI Hub, a pocket-sized hub that combines five ports into a single USB-C accessory. The hub supports up to 65W power passthrough, allowing users to charge a connected laptop while using other peripherals. Connectivity options include a 4K HDMI output for external displays, a wired Ethernet port, and universal USB-C compatibility.
HP says the hub supports multiple operating systems and is Works With Chromebook certified, a designation for accessories and software that have been officially tested for full ChromeOS compatibility, making it suitable for mixed-device environments. Like the charger, the hub places an emphasis on sustainability, using at least 80% post-consumer recycled plastic and FSC-certified packaging.
HP is positioning both accessories as tools for seamless on-the-go setups, particularly for users moving between home, office, and travel environments. Pricing and availability are staggered: the HP 65W GaN Wall Charger is expected to be available in March with a starting price of $59.99, while the HP Portable USB-C 4K HDMI Hub is expected to launch earlier, in February, also starting at $59.99.
