Samsung is not expected to replace the Galaxy S25 Ultra until the end of February (curr. $1,051 on Amazon). Nonetheless, various concrete details about its successor have emerged in the last few days. For instance, the first official render images of the device surfaced in a recent One UI 8.5 Beta build.
Shortly afterwards, the Galaxy S26 Ultra emerged on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US as the SM-S948B and SM-S948U. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will also be available with numerous Qi2-compatible accessories. Now, evidence supporting previous claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch with faster charging than its predecessor has emerged on the CCC in China.
As the screenshot below shows, the CCC has certified the SM-S948 for up to 60 W charging at 20V/3A. To that end, Samsung has already listed a compatible charger across many of its regional websites. Specifically, the company has started selling the EP-T6010NBEGWW with a single USB Type-C port priced at €52.90 (~$62). There is little chance that Samsung will bundle this charger with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, though.
