This wireless 4K HDMI transmitter just launched on Kickstarter for $59, hit funding goal within hours

The LOVX 4K wireless transmitter and receiver kit is now live on Kickstarter. This hardware's main aim is to replace physical HDMI cables by sending video signals up to 50 meters away without requiring a local Wi-Fi connection. It uses a plug-and-play design that claims to work immediately upon connection to a power source and HDMI port.
Hardware supports 4K output at 30Hz, while 1080p resolution runs at 60 Hz. The transmitter utilizes dual-band 2.4G and 5G frequencies for stable signal performance across different environments. A physical button on the transmitter should let user quickly disconnect and reconnect the stream. The campaign claims that latency stays below 0.1 seconds, so video playback and office work shouldn't have any issues, though gaming might feel unresponsive. The receiver features both HDMI and VGA ports. It supports connections from laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles.
The package includes the transmitter, receiver, and necessary USB power cables. The hardware itself consists of an aluminum alloy shell. Thanks to its compact form factor, it should be portable enough for travel or quick office setups. For bigger environments than offices, however, the system supports a one-to-eight configuration - a single receiver can pair with multiple transmitters. Users can switch between different source devices with a button press. Both mirror and extended desktop modes are supported.
Each kit requires a 5V/2A power supply via the included USB-C cables, which can be drawn directly from a display's USB port or a basic power bank (like this 20,000mAh Anker Zolo battery on Amazon). The retail package also comes with the necessary adapters, including Mini HDMI or VGA options. LOVX also claims to provide a 12-month standard warranty for all backers, which covers manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.
The campaign has several tiers listed, starting with a Kickstarter Limited price of $59 for either a USB-C or HDMI transmitter set. Backers can also choose from Super Early Bird deals at $69 or Early Bird sets at $79. Bundle options scale up to $479 for an eight-pack. Plus, backers can choose between USB-C or HDMI transmitter options across all pricing tiers. Discounted bundles are also available in sets of two, three, five, or eight units for larger installations.
