Google Pixel 11 Pro (XL): leak reveals smaller batteries, hints at higher prices yet again

After a leak had already revealed the European prices for the Pixel 11 series, Roland Quandt was able to uncover the allegedly final prices for the United Kingdom. The picture is similar to that in Europe – those looking to buy a model with 256 GB of storage will actually pay £20 less for the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro than they did for the Pixel 10 ($729 on Amazon).
However, since Google no longer offers a base model with 128 GB of storage, the starting price for both models effectively increases by £80. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL already came with at least 256 GB of storage, yet Google is still raising the price of the Pixel 11 Pro XL with 256 GB of storage by £80, meaning the larger model will cost £200 more than the smaller Pro model in the future, rather than just £100. The Google Pixel 11 series is set to be offered in the UK at the following prices:
- Google Pixel 11 (256 GB): £879 (–£20)
- Google Pixel 11 Pro (256 GB): £1,079 (–£20)
- Google Pixel 11 Pro XL (256 GB): £1,279 (+£80)
Roland Quandt was also able to uncover details about the battery capacity of the three smartphones. According to his findings, the battery in the Google Pixel 11 increases slightly by 15 mAh to 4,985 mAh, while the Pro models actually have smaller batteries. The Pixel 11 Pro’s battery shrinks by 20 mAh, or 0.4 percent, to 4,850 mAh, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL’s battery is expected to shrink by 85 mAh, or 1.6 percent, to 5,115 mAh. The batteries are said to be slightly larger than earlier rumors indicated. The prices and specs of the Pixel 11 series are expected to be officially announced no later than the launch event on August 12.
