The launch of RedMagic's next tablet is right around the corner, having been scheduled for a June 11 arrival in China. With that in mind, the company continues to throw out last-minute teasers on its Chinese social media channels, such as the inclusion of a larger battery and faster charging than the recent Legion Tab Gen 4.
Now, it has suggested that the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro is capable of playing 'massive PC games anytime, anywhere' in a new round of teasers. Rather than playing these natively, RedMagic subsequently clarified that the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro uses a built-in emulator to achieve this feat. In that sense, it seems that RedMagic has developed an alternative to Winlator.
For context, Xiaomi showcased an equivalent earlier this year called WinPlay. Still not launched, WinPlay preceded the introduction of Xiaomi's latest Pad 7 series tablets, including the entry-level Pad 7 (curr. $399.99 on Amazon). By contrast, RedMagic implies that it will be including its emulation tool from launch day. Unfortunately, the company has not suggested when its Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered and OLED display-wielding tablet will be available outside China.
