GTA 6 leak mess deepens as second group surfaces with alleged internal build

The ongoing GTA 6 leak snafu may have just gotten progressively murkier. A second group, apparently unrelated to the original leaker CyberLeek, is now claiming to have obtained internal Rockstar Games material. It has reportedly shown several pieces of material as proof, including an unpublished GTA 6 screenshot said to originate from an internal build dated April 2026. Other footage circulating online appears to show development files and shaders being extracted. At the same time, one post claims the group also has access to an Xbox development kit containing a game build.
A Reddit post discussing the second group claims its access came through a Rockstar India employee who was phished. However, there is some uncertainty about exactly what hardware the leaked build is running on. While the second group is being associated with an Xbox development kit, a separate report citing developers and industry sources claims material from the latest leak is running on PC rather than directly on an Xbox devkit.
The alleged second breach appears considerably smaller for now. Besides the supposed April build screenshot and development material, the attackers reportedly exposed private information belonging to Rockstar employees. We are deliberately not reproducing or detailing that material. CyberLeek's earlier dump included gameplay footage and an alleged map, and several uploads later disappeared from major platforms after copyright complaints. Copies remain fairly easy to find, however, because it is virtually impossible to completely erase material from the internet in 2026, especially when it concerns a release as anticipated as GTA 6.
If genuine, the new material would mean Rockstar is dealing with two apparently independent sources of leaks at the same time. That, combined with the 2022 breach in which more than 90 development videos were leaked online and the 2023 trailer leak, makes GTA 6 one of the most leaked games in recent history.
