GTA 6 leak reveals new carjacking mechanic alongside Bugatti-inspired hypercar

A fresh GTA 6 leak has surfaced online, this time offering over two minutes of driving footage featuring what appears to be the game's take on the Bugatti Divo. And, of course, the mandatory shitcoin advertisement that has become somewhat of a trademark for Cyberleek’s material. The clip is reportedly titled "Hypercar Part 1" and appears to originate from the same recent batch of leaked development footage that surfaced earlier. Interestingly, the second group of hackers that apparently gained access to a development build of GTA 6 are yet to show their cards.
Besides giving us a longer look at vehicle handling and vehicle models, the footage reveals another small change to carjacking mechanics compared to older GTA games. After all, the game is called Grand Theft Auto. In GTA 6, NPCs can seemingly lock their vehicles while inside them, preventing Jason from simply opening the door. Instead, the player will have to smash the side window to gain access and pull the occupant out. Community analysis of earlier leaked footage also pointed to two possible approaches for locked vehicles: breaking a window or cloning the vehicle's key.
Of course, the footage should still be treated as unfinished development material, although there’s a good chance the mechanic will be featured in the final build. So far, footage attributed to Cyberleek has been hit with DMCA takedowns since it began circulating earlier this week, so it is likely only a matter of time before this one is taken down as well. Furthermore, the leaker explicitly stated that they are not active on X and exclusively post clips on their Telegram channel.
