GTA 6 could have a monthly subscription separate from GTA+

Stepping away from the GTA 6 leaks for a bit, some new information about the game has popped up. Rockstar already offers a subscription service called GTA+, but it seems like GTA 6 could have its own monthly subscription.
The information comes from video game journalist Adam Sessler, who discussed GTA 6 during the latest episode of his ‘The Joy of Sess’ podcast on Twitch. While talking to slightly_old_gaming, who brought up a monthly subscription service for GTA 6, Sessler said:
if for some of the stuff I’ve heard that I’m not going to talk about, there is a reason for that monthly subscription. You know, I’m more interested to see how they (Rockstar) introduce an idea like that, if that is the case. Because… I’m going to hide under my desk when something like that gets announced.
Details about the subscription service are scarce, but it suggests some content may not be available to everyone. With GTA+, Rockstar offers extra items and discounts to GTA Online players. However, this new subscription doesn’t seem to be for GTA 6’s online mode, which we know will arrive a month or two after the single-player release.
For context, Sessler and his guest were talking about how Grand Theft Auto games have tons of content when one of them brought up the monthly subscription. As for what the subscription might include, it is unlikely that Rockstar will keep any kind of missions behind a paywall. So, it could just be cosmetic add-ons or possibly some weapons.
At this point, the monthly subscription is just speculation, so take this information with a grain of salt.
