Every side is a grand spectacle: DJI confirms Osmo 360 II release date

Hardly any time has passed since DJI released the Osmo Pocket 4P globally. A rival to the Insta360 Luna Ultra, the Osmo Pocket 4P initially arrived about six weeks ago in China. Incidentally, DJI has just started selling the Mic Mini 2S too.
Now, it seems the company is preparing to unveil another new device in China. Specifically, DJI has revealed that the Osmo 360 II will receive an official release on August 13 at 20:00 local time (12:00 UTC). In the meantime, the company has opened reservations on its website.
However, this appears to only provide a purchase reminder rather than providing an actual opportunity to pre-order the camera. Setting that aside, DJI has already revealed the Osmo 360 II's design. Embedded above, the compact housing is expected to contain a 10% larger battery than the one inside the Osmo 360. Also, the Osmo 360 II is rumoured to support up to 8K and 60 FPS video captures, unlike its predecessor.
For the time being, we cannot find any corresponding information about a global release. Nonetheless, DJI sells the Osmo 360 globally (curr. $404 on Amazon). Hence, we suspect that the Osmo 360 II will make a global appearance later this quarter.
