New Insta360 X6 leaks confirm pricing with specs before global launch

The launch of Insta360's next action camera is almost upon us. Not content with challenging DJI in the vlogging camera space with the Luna Ultra (curr. $769 on Amazon), Insta360 is now preparing to unveil an Osmo 360 II rival as well.
For reference, DJI is set to officially release the Osmo 360 II on August 13 in China. By contrast, Insta360 has teased that it will officially release the X6 a day earlier. Not only that, but the Insta360 X6 should be available globally from launch too.
In comparison, DJI has not revealed when it will present the Osmo 360 II outside China. Likewise, DJI's next 360-degree action camera is unlikely to officially reach the US, either. However, a last-minute leak indicates that the Insta360 X6 will be significantly more expensive than the outgoing Insta360 X5 in the US. For context, the Insta360 X5 landed in the US for $549, rising to $659 for the Essentials Bundle.
Now, Best Buy has revealed that the Insta360 X6 will arrive for $699. A $150 increase, this new pricing also equates to a 27% uplift over the Insta360 X5. Meanwhile, Insta360 intends to charge $769 for the Essentials Bundle, a $120 and 16% change from the Insta360 X5. Incidentally, the Insta360 X6 should start at CAD 939 in Canada before rising to $1,039 for its Essentials Bundle.
For those prices, Insta360 will include dual 1-inch equivalent sensors. Replacing 1/1.28-inch equivalents, these new sensors should combine with up to 8K/50 FPS video capabilities and up to 140 minutes of battery life thanks to a 2,600 mAh battery.
