Dell.com's Black Friday event has kicked off with about 20% off many XPS and Inspiron models. In terms of less productivity-focused hardware, however, its banner listing may be the Alienware Area-51 desktop with a Threadripper 2950X SoC, which has been discounted by US$1020. There are also other gaming PCs from this OEM on sale.

Dell's Black Friday 2019 sale includes both its business- and gaming-focused systems. The best deal included is probably that on its new 16GB Alienware Area-51 Threadripper Edition gaming desktop, which is powered by the Ryzen Threadripper 2950X, and also has an RTX 2080 card. It is priced at US$3499 rather than its usual $4519 during the sale. In addition, the core i7 Alienware Aurora desktop with an RTX 2080 SUPER is $1899, or $430 off.

Those after a new laptop instead may go for the 9th-gen Intel core i7-powered Alienware Area-51m or m17 gaming notebooks. They are equipped with the RTX 2070 and 2080 Max-Q GPUs respectively, and both currently go for $2699 (at 13% discounts). Alternatively, the new Alienware m15 wth the RTX 2070 Max-Q is $480 less than its regular price of $2529.

This sale also includes the XPS 15 with a GTX 1650 card for a $250 discount, or $1649. There is also a GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q-powered variant of the G3 15-inch notebook on which $490 can be saved. These and numerous other G-series, XPS or Alienware deals are available on dell.com from now until December 2, 2019.
