Dell Latitude 13 7300 Series

Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable 2024

The Dell Latitude 7300 knocks things straight out of the park by ticking a lot of the boxes from a list of essential specifications most commonly sought in a superb working laptop model. The Dell Latitude 7300 currently holds the record for being the world’s smallest premium business-class notebook with just capping at an approximated maximum of 13 inch in size and length. The Dell Latitude 7300’s clean and immaculate appearance is definitely something to vie for, not to mention that it also houses a few tricks up its ports and sleeves for hasty users to secure the fastest Internet connection within their immediate proximity.

First of all, as mentioned before, the Dell Latitude 7300 is only measured up to an approximated 13 inch in total, it also welcomes you to a smarter design, which can be traced with the tip of a finger. For instance, the improved screen of the Dell Latitude 7300 consists of a four-sided narrow border panel with an anti-glare matte finish. The four-sided narrow border not only magnifies the screen-to-body ratio percentage of the Dell Latitude 7300 for better immersion, but the anti-glare matte screen can effectively prevent reflection of light sourced from the backlight of a bright environment. This makes the Dell Latitude 7300 convenient to be operated at wherever and whenever users desire should they intend to bring work from home or to a quick getaway at the nearest beach.

The Dell Latitude 7300 comes equipped with the state-of-the-art 8th generation Intel Core i7-8665U processor. The Intel Core i7-8665U is a power efficient quad-core unit, which can be commonly found in the latest releases of high-end notebooks or ultrabooks in the scene. This processor unit offers a higher clock speed up to 4,800 MHz upon the activation of Turbo mode thanks to its production using the 14 nm process.

The physical design of the laptop itself can be chosen from two available alternatives between a chassis with new aluminum finish or formed from durable carbon fiber weave depending on the one’s taste. The new aluminum finish exudes a strong and illustrious business executive vibe, which is perfect to be brought into a workplace or wherever just to highlight on one’s career and identity. The carbon fiber weave finish creates a more aesthetically-pleasing look, which adds a certain kind of extra flavor to the overall presentation of the Dell Latitude 7300. All in all, the design of both physical variations are impressively done with hardly any visible flaw to point out.

The sweet spot? Dell’s revision of their 13.3-inch Latitude 7000 series introduces active cooling and brings the machine up to speed with its 12.5 and 14-inch counterparts. With a Core i7 CPU, 16 GB RAM, and a Samsung NVMe SSD, is this the business-grade XPS 13 we’ve been waiting for?

The Dell Latitude 7380 is an incredibly well-rounded enterprise laptop. Honestly, there isn’t much we can fault here. With excellent performance, a gorgeous display with a razor-thin bezel, a great build, a comfortable keyboard, and a wide array of ports the Latitude 3780 delivers on almost every front. The only thing that we would knock the Dell Latitude 3780 for is the price. Despite all of its great features, consumers may want a few more premiums for a laptop that costs more than $2,000. That being said many of the scaled down configurations offers a better balance between price and performance.

The Dell Latitude 7380 is standing evidence you can have your cake and eat it, too. This 13.3-incher combines excellent performance and practicality into a supremely portable package. It lasted for 13 hours in our battery life rundown, one of the best times we’ve seen from a laptop this size. Its excellent keyboard, touch pad, and IPS screen were other pluses. We also admired its strong magnesium-alloy build and end-user upgradeability.

Professional convertible… There’s a lot to like about the Latitude 7390 2-in-1, such as its Core i7-8650U quad-core CPU, NVMe SSD, sturdy case with a compact footprint, and dual-storage capability. But it also carries its share of drawbacks—and it’s quite expensive.

A 2-in-1 does seem like a novelty of sorts for a business user, but you can easily imagine a number of use-cases where a convertible laptop would be a great fit. The Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 offers plenty for leisure activities or even for students, but then again, you wouldn't be looking at this laptop specifically if you're a casual user. For such users, an XPS 13 or 15 should suffice.

Dell Latitude 7390

The Dell Latitude 7390 is designed to provide knowledge workers with a high-quality mobile computing experience, starting with an 8th-generation Intel processor. Dell also emphasizes mobile security, with options of a fingerprint reader, both contact and contactless smart card readers as well as Intel vPro and Windows Hello. In terms of design, it is visually slightly more interesting than its sibling, the 7390 2-in-1, because of its carbon fiber, soft-touch lid. The case, which is almost completely matte black and wedge-shaped tapering towards the front, appears almost generic in its elegant simplicity. It adds a bit of texture to what is otherwise a black square with a silver Dell logo. Lifting the lid reveals a 13.3-inch, 1080p display with a thin bezel, while the plasticky deck features an island-style keyboard and a fingerprint reader. At 2.9 pounds and a thickness of 0.7 inches, it is both heavier and thicker than several of its competitors. For instance, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon (6th gen) weighs 2.5 pounds and is 0.6 inches thick. Dell does designs these devices to survive minor drops, vibration, humidity, and dust, but if users are concerned about staying up and running, they can get its ProSupport Plus service for an additional cost that covers accidental damage in addition to other support services.

The 13.3-inch 1080p touchscreen on the Latitude is vivid, though some others are brighter. The Latitude covers 132 percent of the sRGB color gamut, easily surpassing the 108 percent premium-laptop average as well as the EliteBook (109 percent), the X1 Carbon (129 percent) and the XPS 13 (118 percent). The 92% brightness distribution is good and will be reflected in black images that appear homogeneous and saturated overall. Dell has switched to a matte touchscreen, which, unlike glossy displays, does not reflect environmental lighting. With an Intel Core i7-8650 CPU, a 256GB PCIe-NVMe SSD and 8 GB of RAM, the Latitude can handle multitasking with ease: It can easily handle 25 tabs in Google Chrome. The Intel Core i7 CPU includes support for vPro for remote management of the device by IT professionals. Dell uses a Hynix M.2 SSD with a 256GB capacity which is connected via SATA III.  For graphics, it has an Intel UHD Graphics 620. The GPU is not suitable for current and/or graphically more demanding 3D games. The built-in, 720p webcam is good enough for conference calls, even though its pictures are a bit off. The laptop has a standard selection of ports for a business notebook. On the left side are a Thunderbolt-3 port, an HDMI output, a USB-3.0 port and a Smart Card reader. There is also a barrel-shaped power connector.

Smart business. Latitude 13 7390 checks all the boxes of a premium business laptop. Its look on the outside kind of resembles the MacBook of yesteryears, however, this shouldn’t hinder its reputation in the Windows laptop world. Even just stating the three build material options (aluminum, carbon fiber, and magnesium alloy) launches the versatility of this device sky high.

Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 review – tiny performance beast with a brilliant touchscreen display
Source: Laptop Media English Archive.org version
Although the Latitude 13 7390 2-in-1 is sold with the whole U series range, we are glad that we got our hands on a unit equipped with a Core i5-8250U processor. We found it to be the perfect business solution – being super responsive. Moreover, the CPU in this device performed better than some of its larger competitors, which can rely on bigger and more effective cooling solutions, like the Lenovo IdeaPad 520, for example.

86.8% Dell Latitude 7300 Laptop Review: business subnotebook falls short of its performance goals | Notebookcheck
Intel's Whiskey Lake CPUs found their way into Dell's Latitude series. The redesigned Latitude 7300 features one as well, and it surprised us with its decent upgradeability (RAM) and long battery life. Unfortunately, not all that glitters is gold, and the laptop's CPU performance was the fly in the ointment.

The laptop's 13.3-inch, 1080p display is plenty bright and vivid, performance is top-notch and 10 hours of battery life is all you can ask for in a business notebook. You also get a bunch of security features (though many are optional), a decent range of ports and a sturdy aluminum chassis.

Corporate users who put a premium on privacy—particularly when it comes to snoopers in the immediate vicinity—will appreciate the robust security features built into the Dell Latitude 7310. This 13.3-inch convertible laptop not only comes with a proximity sensor that locks and wakes the screen as you come and go, it also boasts a privacy screen that hides sensitive data (although not necessarily images) from prying eyes.

Rarely have we encountered such a privacy-minded laptop as this particular configuration of the Dell Latitude 7310, what with its proximity sensor, privacy screen and camera shutter. The Comet Lake CPU should power you through most everyday and processor-intensive computing chores, particularly the lengthy ones. Those who demand quick bursts of processor speed may need to look elsewhere, however.

Dell Latitude 13 7310 review – you can get it in aluminum or carbon fiber outfit
Source: Laptop Media English Archive.org version
As we said at the beginning of the review, we are not entirely happy with Dell’s decision to pair this notebook with Comet Lake-U processors. However, even though it doesn’t provide great performance, you have efficiency. Our unit got 17 hours of Web browsing out of the battery. And if you are on a movie marathon, it will last you about 15 hours and 50 minutes. Yep, this translates into roughly two light workdays of use.

Snazzy consumer laptops like the Dell XPS 13 aren't often issued to employees at large enterprises. This occasionally comes up as a point of consternation when toters of bulging, black, IT-approved ThinkPads gaze enviously at the borderless 4K displays and svelte chassis of laptops that managers won't let them use for work. To appease that envy, Dell has added plenty of innovative, user-friendly features to its latest Latitude 7320 (starts at $1,559; $1,964 as tested). Available as either a standard clamshell or the 2-in-1 convertible seen here, this machine offers IT-mandated Intel vPro manageability and SmartCard readers, but it also has employee-pleasing features like a sublimely comfortable keyboard, a sturdy chassis, and a sci-fi-worthy proximity sensor.

I was hoping that, given its slightly larger size and lower-resolution screen, the Latitude 7320 would have better battery life than the Surface, but they're nearly identical. Both manage about 10 hours in everyday use—browsing the web, video calls, using messaging apps, and more. It's good enough that I was never looking for a cord during the day, but if you're hoping to watch a movie on the couch after a full-day's work, you'd better have a plug handy (or a portable battery pack).

70% Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable review: A very good Surface Pro alternative
Source: Tom's Guide English
The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable is a great option if you're in the market for a tablet that can double as a laptop, one that has the ability to be customized to either fit your budget or preference. The webcams on both the front and back of the tablet are fantastic and high quality, and with the display being superb, it makes video chatting or even streaming enjoyable. Even so, the quality of the speakers could be better, especially for the starting price of the Dell Latitude 7320. And while it has decent battery life, some competitors last longer on a charge, and it doesn't help that the Latitude's kickstand and type cover have a flimsy design. Overall, the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable isn't our favorite 2-in-1 laptop, but it's definitely worth a look for business users on the go.

Dell Latitude 13 7320 Detachable review – are “detachables” the new trend?
Source: Laptop Media English
However, on the question, are detachable and tablets are the future of computing, probably yes, but we are nowhere near this time. And the reason for that is simple – expansion and connectivity. If laptops are getting closer and closer to replacing desktop computers, tablets are staying put. On the other side, in the business world, we think that they will fight with foldables and 2-in-1s, and the result from that battle is currently unpredictable.

Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable Revisited: Refined And Ready
Source: Hot Hardware English
This experiment with Dell's new 2-in-1 let us get a glimpse of how a system can change over time. Dell provided us initially with a pre-release detachable tablet for review when the company first announced the Latitude 7320, and it was pretty nice at the time. Performance was adequate if not impressive in spots, and battery life was fairly solid considering its size. However, as software and firmware matured, we've seen measurable gains in both performance and battery life. This is representative of Dell putting the finishing touches on a system as it's ready to go out the door to customers, and our experience today should more accurately reflect what consumers will receive at retail.

100% Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable Laptop review: a remote working superstar
Source: T3 English
There is a lot to like about the Latitude 7320 Detachable. It has good performance, excellent battery life and a clear, bright screen. There are also some nice touches that you don’t get on similar tablet machines, such as two Thunderbolt 4 ports and the fingerprint reader. So, it is a very solid machine that can handle most things you would want to throw at it, and keep doing so for a long time away from the home or office. With the Surface Pro 7 starting at under $1,000 including the keyboard and pen (and cheaper offers popping up regularly), even the cheapest model of the Latitude Detachable can seem expensive. But remember, you’re getting an 11th gen processor compared to a 10th gen one, which is likely to last you much longer and give a much better performance. You need to look at the business-only Surface Pro 7+ for a comparative model, and then the prices are much more closely matched.

Overall, the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable has a few advantages over the Surface Pro 7+ and its other main competitor, the ThinkPad X12 Detachable. A larger screen, a fingerprint reader, and an included keyboard with built-in stylus holder add to the Latitude's appeal, even if they do carry a premium in price. But when it comes to computing performance and battery life, the Surface Pro 7+ doesn't suffer from any significant disadvantages. On the contrary, its Core i5 outruns the Latitude's Core i7 in some tests, and it lasts longer away from a power outlet, too. As a result, the Microsoft tablet is the better choice for most workers in the market for an ultralight, pen-friendly Windows machine, and it retains our Editors' Choice award as the best Windows detachable for business.

Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable Review: Challenging and outdoing the Microsoft Surface
Source: On MSFT English
There's no shortage of Windows 2-in-1s these days, but just as I said when I reviewed the XPS 13 2-in-1, all are not created equal. Microsoft's Surface Pro devices, in particular, are known to sport thick bezels around the edges of the screen. The Surface Pro X's slim bezel design attempts to address that concern but ends up lagging behind the rest of the Pro lineup because of its Qualcomm-based processor. So what happens if you blend the Intel power of the main Surface Pro with the design of the Surface Pro X, but also cater the device for the needs of businesses? You get the Latitude 7320 Detachable. Dell provided me a Latitude 7320 Detachable for review, and after using one for two weeks, it's shaped up to be quite the device. As someone who is used to sporting a Surface, the Latitude has proven to be an intelligent and powerful machine that seeks to outdo the Surface Pro in more ways than one.

Overall, Dell created a compelling new 2-in-1 hybrid machine in the Latitude 7320 Detachable. It has an interesting and unique mix of performance, portability, and expandability that is rare on the market currently. If the hybrid convertible form factor is important to you, and more importantly if the fastest Windows hybrid machine on the market currently is a priority, Dell's Latitude 7320 Detachable is as good as it gets. Lenovo proved as much with the ThinkPad X12 Detachable and now Dell has released one of the best hybrid tablets to date in the Latitude 7320 Detachable. It may not change the formula much, but the Latitude nails each ingredient, providing a bright and vivid 13-inch display, a comfortable and convenient keyboard, and plenty of security options for business users.

Dell Latitude 13 7320 review – once again, there is a ton of configuration options
Source: Laptop Media English
Undoubtedly, the Latitude 13 7320 doesn’t come cheap. But it just might be the best value Carbon fiber laptop on the market as of now. Its direct competitor from Lenovo is significantly more expensive and offers pretty much the same. Well… the display on the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th Gen is miles ahead of that of the Dell device. And this leads us to the carbon fiber chassis. It has a rubberized texture on top, which feels soft to the touch. We don’t know how it will fare down the line, but you will reap the benefits of the material, as the laptop weighs only 1.12 kg. So, the question here is – should you invest in this notebook. Honestly, it is not cheap, and it doesn’t bring any groundbreaking innovations to the table. However, if you seek stability in your daily business computing needs, the Latitude 13 7320 should be a good choice.

80% Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable review: An excellent business tablet PC
Source: PC World English
We’ve given the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable four stars, evidence that this is a solid effort from Dell in the Windows tablet PC space. As we’ve noted in our other tablet reviews, price matters. Even with the addition of the pen and keyboard, our review unit of the Latitude 7320 costs more than the comparable Microsoft Surface Pro 7+. From a performance standpoint, Dell’s tablet ranks about equal or slightly behind the Surface Pro 7+. Still, the Latitude 7320 is smartly designed, with a wealth of convenient hardware and software features that certainly make the tablet a pleasure to use. For that, we’re awarding the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable an Editor’s Choice award, as one of the PC tablets we’d recommend of this current generation.

Source: It Pro English
The Latitude 7320 Detachable isn’t a machine you’ll get overly excited about, but it is a thoroughly competent Windows tablet. Performance is good, as is battery life, but the display and keyboard dock are the stars of the show; the former is bright and colourful, the latter surprisingly solid given how thin and light it is. As a combination, it doesn’t give much away to a conventional laptop but it is significantly lighter and more flexible. With the current level of discount on offer from Dell, it’s good value too.

Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme review: One of the best 13-inch rugged laptops | Notebookcheck

80% Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme review: A near indestructible portable powerhouse

It’s clear from its design that this isn’t going to be the best laptop for everyone, but for those that need a fully-rugged device that can survive a harsh environment and a potential beating, the Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme is one of the best options on the market, especially as its performance can compete with many other mid-to-high end workstation laptops such as the Dell XPS 15 or the LG Gram 17. It has plenty of configurability, with 11th-gen Intel processors and integrated Xe graphics alongside plenty of RAM and storage to keep up with day-to-day tasks, and its HD display is surprisingly bright for a laptop that looks as if it’s lept out of the early 90’s. This is going to survive much more than something like a Dell XPS 17 so if you need the sturdiest laptop that money can buy, look no farther than the Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme.

For most laptop families, OEMs simply offer just one material option such as magnesium alloy or carbon fiber a la the HP Spectre or the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, respectively. The Latitude 7330 wants to do it all by giving users the option to choose between three different materials.
40% Dell’s Latitude 7330 convinced me that business laptops are too expensive

Business laptops like this have a laundry list of benefits for professionals — not just in remote management but on the security side as well. The Latitude’s presence-detection, enterprise-class security, and dual-network connectivity could be huge benefits to a family business owner or a founder who’s getting a startup off the ground. But I worry about how much those customers would be giving up in going for this Latitude. And the priorities of IT managers purchasing giant fleets are further from my purview as a critic, but my instinct is that you folks should consider models that will more reliably service the varying needs of your full workforce, especially when it comes to battery life.

Source: PC Mag English
The Dell Latitude 7330 Ultralight is a capable ultraportable with a good array of ports, and it reminds us that an old-school 1080p display can still be quite nice in this age of different aspect ratios. But the Ultralight version gives up its siblings' bigger battery and conveniences like a fingerprint reader and face recognition webcam, and the 7330 generally lacks the panache of more stylish designs like the square-screened HP Dragonfly Elite G3 (which admittedly costs a few hundred dollars more). It'll appeal to IT managers, but it's not the most elegant option.

60% Dell Latitude 7330 UL review: an ultra-light business laptop
Source: Digital Trends English
The Latitude 7330 Ultralight sounds like a great idea. Take a solid business laptop and construct a version with lighter materials, making it one of the lightest laptops you can buy. But Dell compromised too much, stripping off some of the features that would be most compelling to its target market. It doesn’t help that performance is at the low end of its class, and its battery life is less than average. Yes, it’s a very light laptop, but that’s not enough to justify its high price compared to some compelling alternatives.

55% Dell Latitude 7330 Ultralight review: The laptop your boss wants to buy you
Source: PC World English
Dell’s Latitude 7330 Ultralight isn’t meant for an average PC shopper. It’s not meant for PC enthusiasts. It’s not even meant for prosumers. This laptop targets big organizations that want to deploy hundreds, possibly thousands of functional, reliable, and identical laptops. It hits the mark. The Latitude 7330 Ultralight is a simple machine with a great keyboard, nice touchpad, and readable anti-glare display. It’s light, packable, and the battery can be topped off with any common USB-C charger. It supports the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard and offers optional mobile data. Unfortunately, the laptop’s flaws make it unappealing for individuals. It looks and feels much less expensive than its high price tag would suggest. Consumer laptops offer superior performance at roughly half the price. This leaves the Latitude 7330 Ultralight in a rough spot. It’s not a bad laptop, really, but an Apple MacBook Air, Lenovo Yoga 9i, or Dell XPS 13 delivers far more value.

This isn’t a laptop for everybody, but for the few who really need i,t the 13-inch Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme will be the perfect tool for their situation. It’s armoured against impacts, has dust and water protection, and the removable battery and accessible SSD mean it has a degree of expandability and upgradability other laptops frequently don’t possess.

74% Dell Latitude 7350 Ultralight Review: Lightweight, Premium and Robust
Source: Think Digit English
The Dell Latitude has a lot going for it. It features a premium and robust ultralight build. Decent I/O port selection (including 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports), fantastic battery life, and some neat new features like the collaboration touchpad. While the number of AI tasks is limited for now, the presence of an NPU offers some degree of futureproofing. Of course, compact laptops like this always have heating issues when under load so that’s worth keeping in mind. Additionally, we would have liked a better display. Overall, we would still say that the Dell Latitude 7350 Ultralight is a fantastic laptop for business professionals looking for an AI enabled ultralight laptop on the go.

80% Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable Review
Source: PC Mag English
We’ve seen better cameras on a tablet but haven’t seen a better tablet for business buyers than the Latitude 7350 Detachable in a long time. It puts what matters to business IT first, blending laptop performance with all-day battery life. It’s well-built, features the latest wireless technology and Intel vPro, and is backed by a three-year warranty. Our primary complaint is that the keyboard is a pricey extra. Otherwise, the Latitude 7350 Detachable is about as seamless as Windows tablets get and earns our Editors' Choice for business tablets.

The Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable is the kind of laptop you’d want with you on a long-haul flight or at a trade show where you’re jumping in and out of meetings all day. Exceptionally lightweight and almost as thin as a dinner plate, you can tuck it under your arm like a magazine and then juggle any other number of other things – a coffee, a brochure, or just shake people’s hands. It also performs admirably in most common productivity tasks. On the flipside, it doesn’t have a lot of I/O options, and you’ll need to pay extra for a keyboard and Active Pen. But those gripes are pretty commonplace in tablet PCs.

The Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable Computer is a fascinating take on a 2-in-1. It's powerful enough to be a complete computer yet portable and small enough to be an EDC tablet. Yes, it only has USB-C ports as the port offerings, but in most cases, in 2024, that's all you need. If you are looking for a solid laptop, tablet, or both, consider the Latitude 7350 Detachable to simultaneously solve your computing and tablet needs.

75% Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable review: Not just a laptop
Source: India Today English
The Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable is a compelling option for those who need a very compact laptop for basic tasks, which can also be used like a tablet. Its slim design, lightweight build, and good performance for general tasks make it a strong contender. However, the lack of traditional ports might be a drawback for users with more demanding needs. The bigger drawback, though, is its price. The base variant is priced at Rs 1,69,300, and the top variant goes up to Rs 2,02,700. But to be fair, you don’t have to pay extra for the stylus and keyboard. Long story short, the Dell Latitude 7350 is a wonderful laptop for business needs and users who want a compact laptop. And if you want a laptop that you can carry like a tab, it is a good option to consider.

13.00:

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

0.782 kg:

2.742 kg:

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.

79.16%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
