Coros Pace 4 Pro now available, comes with larger display, longer battery life, and upgraded memory

As previously teased, Coros has now launched the Pace 4 Pro smartwatch, which competes with offerings from Garmin, such as the Forerunner 570. It is a successor to the Pace 4 that launched in November last year. The Pro model is bigger and better in many aspects, but of course, carries a higher price tag as well.

The Coros Pace 4 Pro comes with the company’s biggest display yet at 1.47 inches with 3,500 nits peak brightness. It is a 466x466 pixels LTPO AMOLED panel protected by sapphire glass and a titanium alloy bezel. The larger size brings a bigger battery now rated for up to 60 hours without the always-on display and up to 45 hours with it, when all systems (including GPS) are enabled. Coros says the charging time has also dropped a bit to 1.5 hours.  

The internal memory has been upgraded from 4GB to 32GB. All these upgrades have added to the weight, as the Pace 4 Pro weighs 43 grams with the nylon band and 51 grams with the silicone band. Besides these changes, the feature set remains largely unchanged when compared to the Pace 4.

You get the company’s latest optical heart rate monitor with a multi-channel PPG sensor for accurate heart rate measurements. There are six tools to monitor workouts, and these include training load, pace strategy, VO2 Max, running fitness, workouts and training plans, and route builder. It is still 5 ATM water-resistant.

Coros Pace 4 Pro price and availability

The Pace 4 Pro is priced at $449 for both the silicone and nylon strap variants. The dial is available in black and white, but only the silicone bands are available in matching colors. There are additional band options available as well, with the Khata nylon band coming soon. The smartwatch is available via the official store but hasn’t been listed on Amazon yet. At this price point, the Pro variant is quite a bit more expensive than the non-Pro, which can be purchased for $250.
