Chinese manufacturer Colorful has announced its iGame G-One all-in-one PC. As an all-in-one (AIO) solution, the iGame G-One does away with the need for a tower and houses the CPU and GPU within the display frame. In this case, the AIO PC comes with a high-performance Coffee Lake mobile processor and a graphics card from Nvidia’s Turing-based GeForce RTX 20 series.

Any computer that packs a Coffee Lake i9-8950HK processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 in its case is going to be expensive. However, even the most enthusiastic gamer might baulk at the price tag for Colorful’s iGame G-One AIO PC. The MSRP for the device is expected to be around US$5,000.

Unsurprisingly, the display for the Colorful iGame G-One AIO PC is top-notch, as it should be in view of the price tag. The Chinese OEM’s press release brags of a gamer-friendly 144 Hz refresh rate on a screen that offers 2560x1440 resolution. The display is HDR 400-certified, and as seems appropriate considering the Colorful name of the manufacturer, the IPS screen has “a 95% DCI-P3 rating and 99% sRGB rating.”

The statement seems to overlook the other components that make up a basic computer system. However, even though the Colorful iGame G-One AIO PC can boast of a fantastic monitor with a premium graphics card and one of the fastest Intel SoCs currently available, the US$5,000 MSRP is going to make it difficult for the iGame G-One to find many buyers. To put it into perspective, you could buy two high-end Gigabyte Aorus gaming laptops for the same price and still have enough change left over to save for a PlayStation 5.
