Computex 2019 | Asus unveils its new ZenScreen Touch
Asus developed the ZenScreen in order to afford users with the option of a portable monitor that can go where typical peripherals cannot. This year, the company unveils its latest take on this concept. It has a touch-responsive screen this time around, as well as somewhat updated I/O.
The resulting Asus ZenScreen Touch (or MB16AMT) has a new, slim design, being only 9 millimeters in depth. Like any decent modern smartphone, it exhibits 10‑point touch to support swiping, scrolling and tapping gestures. Asus asserts that it is ready for use in either entertainment, productivity or creative pursuits. The new ZenScreen has micro-HDMI support, although modern-day consumers may also appreciate its Hybrid-Signal USB type C.
The ZenScreen Touch is also ready for an on-the-go life. It weighs 900 grams and has a built-in 7800mAh battery (like the 11-inch iPad Pro 2018; it also has an IPS display in common with this tablet). The new product also features a ZenScreen Touch App, which allows it to mirror an Android phone's screen for improved visibility and control on the larger Asus display.
