Last May, Bigme announced the HiBreak, a smartphone with an E Ink display (and the choice between grayscale or color). Now, it has announced the HiBreak Pro which is bigger and better. The HiBreak Pro, like the standard Hibreak, is an Android phone first, and not an e-reader shaped like a smartphone as is the case with the BOOX Palma 2 (available on Amazon for $279.99).
The HiBreak Pro has a 6.13'' HD Epaper display with a 300 ppi. Unfortunately, there's no color option for the E Ink display, but it does have adjustable color temperature. Powering the device is MediaTek's Dimensity 1080 processor, and it is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Details here
The HiBreak Pro has a 20MP rear camera, an upgrade from the 13MP sensor on the standard model. However, it retains the 5MP front-facing camera. For phones with an E Ink display, pictures captured on them may not appear well on the screen, but when transferred to another device with a regular display, you can see all the details. Nevertheless, the cameras are great for scanning documents.
The HiBreak Pro has 5G support thanks to having a processor with a 5G modem. It also has NFC, an IR blaster, and a fingerprint scanner buried underneath the power button. All of these are unavailable on the non-pro model. Bigme has also put a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging inside the HiBreak Pro. It also runs Android 14 along with a handful of AI features.
Bigme is taking pre-orders for the HiBreak Pro on its online store. You do have to pay a $5 deposit though, but that gets you a $30 discount on the full price which isn't stated on the site. The promo runs until the 13th of January, 2025. The device should then be released on or after that date.
