Pocketbook aims to reinvent wall art by replacing printed images with high-quality E Ink panels. Since E Ink completely dispenses with backlighting and instead uses reflected light, the matte panels are intended to have a paper-like appearance.
The integrated battery, which has a capacity of between 14,000 mAh and 20,000 mAh depending on the size, is estimated to last a whole year. This enormously long runtime is made possible by the fact that E Ink only consumes power when the screen content changes. The InkPoster comes in a diagonal of either 13.3 inches, 28.5 inches or 31.5 inches. Regardless of size, an E Ink Spectra 6 panel is installed, which has a contrast ratio of 30:1 and is able display around 60,000 colors.
