Bigme has introduced a new E Ink tablet, having presented the HiBreak Pro earlier this year. Like the HiBreak Pro, the B7 is more Android tablet than conventional E-Reader like the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite (curr. $179.99 on Amazon).
Nonetheless, Bigme's latest E Ink device has a thick bottom bezel that contains dedicated buttons for turning pages like most E-Readers. The B7 also appears to have a square display, which sets it apart from Android tablets that tend to feature 16:9 or 16:10 displays.
While Bigme has not shared any specifics in this regard, its teaser image shows pen support and the inclusion of a colour E Ink panel. On top of that, the B7 will launch with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage at its disposal. Bigme mentions an octa-core chipset with 4G support too, plus a rear-facing camera for good measure. Exact launch details are unknown for the time being though, nor if Bigme plans to offer the E-Reader and tablet hybrid globally.
