Ayn has shared a first look at a new Android handheld coming soon. Confirmed to launch as the Odin 3 Portal, the handheld shares a striking resemblance to the Odin 2 Portal, but is expected to launch as a larger variant of the Odin 3.

Ayn hasn't released a new handheld this year unlike its sister company, Retroid, and rivals, Ayaneo and Anbernic. However, that is about to change as it has shared a first look at a successor to one of its most popular handhelds.

The new handheld is the Odin 3 Portal and it will launch as a successor to the Odin 2 Portal announced in 2024, and which got a color refresh a couple of months ago. Ayn hasn't released any technical specifications of the handheld, but it has shared a render, which reveals a few details.

Based on the image, the Ayn Odin 3 Portal seems to be sticking to the same design as its predecessor, at least on the front. The handheld has a flat display and is covered with a sheet of glass that curves at the edges.

The Ayn Odin 3 Portal has a design similar to that of the Odin 2 Portal.

In addition to the curved front, the upcoming handheld has asymmetrical thumbsticks with RGB rings; a D-pad and ABXY buttons that are housed in a circle; and stereo front-facing speakers. There are also four function buttons and a microphone on the front.

Due to the lack of specs, it is impossible to say if it is just the design of the Odin 2 Portal that Ayn is reusing or if there are other similarities. However, one feature that we can expect will be changed is the processor. Going by the Odin 2 and Odin 2 Portal, the Odin 3 Portal is expected to be a larger version of the Odin 3, but with the same processor.

Ayn hasn't said when the Odin 3 Portal will be released, but the image says it is coming soon.
