Retroid has announced how much its new dual-screen handhelds will cost. The prices, which place them under the Ayn Thor Pro, will be discounted for those who pre-order the devices.

Following a surprise reveal of a lite version of the Pocket Duo, Retroid has now revealed the available configuration and pricing for the two dual-screen Android handhelds. Based on the pricing, it is clear that Retroid isn't launching rivals to the Ayn Thor, but providing buyers with more affordable options.

The Retroid Pocket Duo has dual OLED displays.

The Retroid Pocket Duo will be available in a single configuration that has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while the Retroid Pocket Duo Lite will be available in two configurations — a 4GB RAM + 64GB version and a 6GB RAM + 128GB version.

When the Retroid Pocket Duo is finally released, it will cost $269, but those who pre-order it will be able to purchase it for $249 when they use the code “DUO” at checkout. This goes with our guess that the Pocket Duo will cost more than the $259 Ayn Thor Lite which has a Snapdragon 865 processor, but be cheaper than the more powerful Ayn Thor Pro which has a $329 price tag.

On the other hand, the Pocket Duo Lite will start at $149 for the 4GB RAM version and go up to $169 for the 6GB RAM version. Those who pre-order will get the base model for $135 and the 6GB RAM version for $155, saving $14 when they use the coupon code “DUOLITE” at checkout.

Retroid will offer a discount to buyers who pre-order the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite.

As reported previously, the Pocket Duo will have a 5.5-inch 1920 × 1080 display at the top and a 4.5-inch 1280 × 960 second display. Both screens are OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-7790 processor, a 6000mAh battery capacity with 27W charging like the Retroid Pocket 6 (currently available for $309 on Amazon), and will ship with Android 16 out of the box. Other features are DisplayPort support, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The Pocket Duo Lite will make do with two 60Hz TFT panels that include a 5.5-inch 1920 × 1080 top display and a 4.2-inch 1280 × 960 bottom display. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6125 and also have a 6,000mAh battery capacity with 18W charging, but ship with Android 15 out of the box. It will have a USB 3.1 Type-C port, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Retroid is yet to reveal when the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite will be available to pre-order as well as their release date.
