MagyarAsus updates 14-inch ExpertBook B9 OLED and B5 series laptops
Yesterday, Asus introduced updated versions of the ExpertBook Series business laptops, namely the ExpertBook B5 (available in flip and clamshell configurations) and the ExpertBook B9 OLED. Both receive the latest Intel processors alongside a comprehensive set of up-to-date, business-oriented set of features.
The ExpertBook B5 & B5 Flip feature a 14-inch FHD anti-glare display (with touch capabilities for the Flip), 16 GB DDR5-4800, 1 TB PCIe SSD storage, and use the Intel Core i7-1360P processor. They also pack a HD IR webcam with shutter and Windows Hello face login, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5, as well as a rich set of connectivity options that includes RJ45 Ethernet, a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports with USB PD 3.0 and 4K display output support, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen2 and Gen1 Type-A, a microSD card reader, a Kensington Nano security slot, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. The B5 weighs 2.8 pounds and the B5 Flip goes up to 3.06 pounds. Both measure 12.73 X 8.78 X 0.70 - 0.71 inches.
The ExpertBook B9 OLED is powered by the Intel Core i7-1355U processor and comes with 16/32 GB LPDDR5-5200 and 1/2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, a 14-inch 3K OLED with 100% sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut and 90 Hz refresh, a FHD IR webcam with shutter and Windows Hello support, and more. Measuring 12.24 X 8.46 X 0.62 inches, the B9 OLED weighs only 2.18 pounds.
The list of common specs and features includes a 63 Wh Lithium-polymer battery with 3 cells, a combo power button that integrates the fingerprint scanner, a full-size spill-resistant keyboard, two-way AI noise cancelling, Cortana support, Intel Smart Sound, Dolby Atmos support, as well as the Asus Business Manager software companion alongside MyAsus for business customization.
While the ExpertBook B5 & B5 Flip start at US$1,699.99 and can be acquired from the brand's certified resellers, the refreshed ExpertBook B9 OLED starts at US$2,149.99 and is available via the Asus Store.
