Asus has launched a new 16-inch gaming laptop globally. First showcased during Computex 2026, the TUF Gaming 16 (2026) will be available in multiple configurations, including ones with a 165 Hz display, 32 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU.

Asus has finally shared more details about its latest 16-inch gaming laptop. For context, the company unveiled the TUF Gaming 16 (2026) at the start of June during Computex 2026 in Taipei as a successor to the TUF Gaming F16 (curr. $1,099 on Amazon). Arguably, the laptop went under the radar though, in part because of Nvidia RTX Spark’s dominance.

Initially, Asus only provided a few hardware speculations, details of which we covered at the time. Now, it has filled in the details by listing the gaming laptop on its global website. On top of that, the company has revealed that three SKUs will be available, all with a 63 Wh battery, dual SODIMM slots and space for installing two SSDs.

Also, Asus will sell the TUF Gaming 16 (2026) with Core i5-14450HX or Core i7-14650HX processors and 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. On top of that, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 laptop GPUs with 85 W TGPs apiece, including 15 W Dynamic Boost. These GPUs power either 144 Hz and 1200p or 165 Hz and 1600p IPS displays, too.

Asus has also included numerous ports, including HDMI 2.1 (FRL), Ethernet and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connection that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. However, the laptop can only be charged by a 150 W rectangular connector. For reference, Asus has packaged all this hardware into a 357 x 259 x 19.4~26.9 mm housing that weighs 2.2 kg and contains that should stay under 40 dB at full load. Please see the company’s global website for more details.
