Deal | Budget-friendly HP OmniBook 5 with OLED, Ryzen AI 5 330 drops below $600

The HP OmniBook 5 is on sale right now for just $599.99, a 46% reduction from its list price. It's equipped with a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200, full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and 300 nits peak brightness.
Inside is an AMD Ryzen AI 5 330 processor (1× Zen 5, 3× Zen 5c cores, Radeon 820M integrated graphics) paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and a 256 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD occupying an M.2 2280 slot.
Connectivity includes a pair of 10 Gbps USB-C ports (DisplayPort 2.1, Power Delivery 3.1), two USB-A (1x 10 Gbps, 1x 5 Gbps), HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone combo jack. A MediaTek MT7920 wireless cards add Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 support, with an upgrade to the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 standards costing only an extra $10.
The laptop's aluminum body measures 12.28 × 8.56 × 0.54 in (312 × 243 × 13.7 mm) and weighs 2.94 lb (1.33 kg), while accommodating a 59 Wh battery that can charge at up to 65 W with the included USB-C GaN power adapter.
The HP OmniBook 5's greatest strength seems to be its OLED panel, which provides deep blacks and vibrant colors unmatched by any LCD at this price point. However, USB4 support and an SD card reader would've been a welcome sight.
