Apple iPhone SE 5G and iPad Air 5 reportedly set to debut on March 8
Rumors over the past few weeks have indicated that Apple is set to release several devices at an event scheduled for spring. That event is expected to host the debuts of the next iPhone SE and iPad Air, and a specific launch date has now been provided in a new leak.
Supposedly, the event itself will hold on March 8, and will see the debuts of the iPhone SE 5G—or iPhone SE 2022, depending on who you ask—and the iPad Air 5. Rumors also indicate that an iMac Pro may also be unveiled at that date, although that appears to be speculative, with potential production concerns cited.
The iPhone SE 5G will debut as a slight refresh to the iPhone SE 2020, with a 4.7-inch LCD, Touch ID, and an identical chassis. It will offer 5G support as its rumored name implies, though, as well as an A15 Bionic. The new iPad Air 5 will chart a similar course, supposedly keeping the design of the iPad Air 4 while upgrading to an A15 Bionic as well.
