Anker's eufyCam 2 Pro is a new 2K, 100% wireless security camera system

The eufyCam 2 Pro improves on its previous generation in that its image sensor's resolution steps up to 2048x1080 (or 2K). It also incorporates night vision (color and IR), 2-way audio and a battery life of up to 12 months. This new indoor/outdoor home-surveillance kit is available through Best Buy in the US.

Eufy is an Anker smart-home brand that has released devices of the eufyCam line as part of its 'security' category in the past. Its latest iteration contains an upgrade to 2K in its CMOS sensor. It also features color/IR night vision and a chassis rated for both indoor and outdoor use.

The eufyCam 2 Pro can withstand temperatures from -4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 50 degrees Celsius) and can run on its battery for up to 12 months. Therefore, the user is free to place it anywhere around the house at need.

The new smart home security device has an app with adjustable notifications, and also integrates with systems such as Apple's HomeKit, Amazon's Alexa and the Google Assistant. Its camera has a 140-degree field of view, and supports on-device person detection.

The eufyCam 2 Pro comes in a starter kit consisting of one connecting station and 2 cameras, or as an add-on single camera. They are now available through Best Buy for US$349.99 or $149.99 respectively.
