Anker now has a USB type C-to-Lightning cable with MFi certifcation available for pre-order on its website. This cable is 3 feet in length and has TPE shielding for durability and longevity. Anker claims that it can charge an iPhone (8 or later) by as much as 50% in 30 minutes, so long as a USB-PD brick is used.

Anker has released its latest accessory for iPhones: a USB type C to Lightning cable. This is the company's first product to be associated with MFi certifcation. This new product is part of its PowerLine II series, and is finished in thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which, as Anker claims, allows it to function for up to 12 times longer compared to other USB cables without this shielding. The accessory firm backs this assertion up with a lifetime guarantee for the cable.

According to its maker, the PowerLine II USB-C to Lightning cable can charge an iPhone (of the 8 series or later) by up to 50% in 30 minutes. However, this feat requires that a compatible USB-C Power Delivery (USB C-PD) charging brick is used in conjunction with the new cable.

This new cable is 3ft in length, and has one color option (white). The Anker PowerLine II USB type C to Lightning cable is prced at US$15.99 and is currently available for pre-order on the company's own website. It will be shipped starting from February 20 thereafter.
