Anker has announced that it was the No.1 mobile charging brand on Earth in 2020, based on retail sales value data for that year, gathered in November 2021 by Euromonitor International. The company now notes that it has risen from relatively humble beginnings selling replacement laptop batteries on Amazon in 2011 to its position as a well-known accessories brand in 2011.
Furthermore, it has also sprouted sub-brands such as Eufy (mostly for its home security range) and Soundcore (for audio accessories) over its 10-year history. In 2021, Anker offers a range of products, currently sorted into numerical series, from 3 (for more affordable products such as the 341 type-C multi-port hub to 7 for higher-end offerings such as the Nano II 65W (or 715) power brick.
The brand has also now produced its almost inevitable MagSafe-compatible line-up. Known as Anker MagGo, the line offers accessories such as the 623 Wireless Charging Station that doubles as a stand, which can hold an iPhone 12- or 13-series device at an up to 65° angle thanks to their magnetic connections.
