As shared by Gizchina, Amprius appears to have denied having any of its cells de-certified by 3C. The company claims, instead, that the affected cells were made by Apex (Wuxi), a former subsidiary.

While the original source asserted that Ugreen had multiple models using the de-certified Amprius cells, Ugreen strongly claims the contrary and as such can be considered to be entirely unaffected by the matter.
Original article continues as follows:
Anker has now issued the recall of several models of its popular power banks in China, citing safety risks. In a press release issued on June 20 in China, the company announced that it would be pulling seven of its power bank models from the market, with owners urged to turn them in.
The seven listed models include the 10,000 mAh Magnetic Power Bank (A1642), Anker 335 Power Bank (A1647), Anker Zolo Travel Power Bank (A1680, A1681), as well as models A1257, A1689, and A1652. This fiasco isn't limited to Anker, though, as other Chinese companies like Baseus, Aukey, Xiaomi, Ugreen, and Romoss are claimed to be affected. Reportedly, this is all due to the Amprius cells used by these companies in their power banks, with China's 3C now pulling its certification for several Amprius cell models.
Some other power bank models said to be affected by this include Xiaomi's 33 W power bank with built-in cable, Romoss's 20 W PAC20PRO and WMS10Q-491 magnetic wireless charger, Ugreen's 30 W PB511, Baseus's 10,000 mAh 20 W power bank, and a host of others.
While these recalls are currently only valid for the Chinese market, owners of these models outside China would do well to watch out for any irregularities with their units.
