ASUS has now delivered two new Vivobook laptops in Europe, having presented them earlier this year. For context, the company is preparing to unveil a Snapdragon X-powered variant of the Vivobook S 15 OLED, which it will present later this month. For the time being, its AMD Ryzen and Intel Meteor Lake-powered counterparts can now be ordered in Europe for as little as €799 with a €100 introductory discount.
For reference, this price is for the Vivobook S 15 OLED (M5506) with an older Ryzen 5 7535HS. By contrast, Ryzen 7 8845HS variants start at €1,099, which not only integrates more CPU cores, but also a newer CPU architecture and a more powerful Radeon 780M iGPU. Like the Vivobook S 14 OLED (S5406), the Vivobook S 15 OLED contains a 2.9K and 120 Hz OLED display, albeit one that measures 15.6-inches across instead of 14-inches.
As for the Vivobook S 14 OLED, ASUS offers the laptop for a minimum of €1,199 with a €200 launch discount. For context, the laptop starts with a Core Ultra 9 185H processor, as well as 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. While a Core Ultra 5 125H-powered version of the same 15.9 mm thick and 1.3 kg laptop exists, it has not made it to Europe yet. Arguably, the laptop's 14-inch OLED display is one of its highlights, particularly thanks to its 2.8K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Please see ASUS' product listings for more details.
